Pre-trial detention, its alternatives and the European Supervision Order

Description
The PRE-TRIAD e-Learning course focuses on ensuring the improvement of practitioners’ understanding and suitable application of the alternatives to pre-trial detention and the European Supervision Order (ESO). Shortly, it touches upon crucial topics such as pre-trial detention in the European Union and the corresponding rates, and how can practitioners analyse the interests of the state versus fundamental personal rights. Moreover, the e-learning takes a closer look at the ultima ratio principle, what is needed to be able to apply alternatives more often and promising practices. Later, the e-learning focuses on the case of foreigners and how can the European Supervision Order be implemented.
